Company

Company profile

Brill Power develops intelligent battery management systems and technology to increase the lifetime, performance and safety of lithium-ion battery packs for energy storage and electric vehicles. We are a team of battery specialists with expertise in power electronics, battery modelling and control.

Our Story

The founding members met whilst pursuing their PHD’s in battery degradation, battery modelling and power electronics at the University of Oxford. It was here whilst studying how batteries degrade over time, the team envisioned a method that would use every cell to its full potential. In 2016, with Carolyn completing the group, they set out to make this into a reality by forming Brill Power where they are gathering likeminded battery enthusiasts to accomplish their vision.

Brill Power company founders

Vision

The Brill Power BMS will be the new gold standard for smart batteries with better product performance, lower cost and less waste, that enable the widespread adoption of renewable energy technologies and electric vehicles.

Mission

Our mission is to bring step-change improvements in lifetime, cost and performance to batteries for energy storage and electric vehicles with our novel BMS solution. Every multi-cell battery system can and should be improved with Brill Power technology.
