BESA BP6X1 achieves FCC approval

Brill Power’s advanced battery management system has received approval by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Federal Communications Commission

The FCC mark is required in order to import and sell electronics in the USA that may cause RF and EMI interference.

Our advanced battery management system+ was designed with this certification in mind to allow us to supply integrators, owners and operators of battery energy storage systems based in the US. Getting the official stamp of approval is the result of the rigorous development and testing conducted in our lab in central Oxford in the UK.

Our intelligent BMS comes with integrated power conversion and is being consistently developed to improve the performance and ROI for large scale energy storage systems. Its configuration provides benefits to lifetime, cell balancing, safety and efficiency of energy storage systems whilst fitting with many common module architectures.

It can also be purchased as an end-to-end solution encompassing hardware, firmware and software all in one holistic system facilitating proactive analysis and decision-making as well as empowering users.

With our three technologies working together, energy storage is streamlined extracting every joule of energy out of every cell, informing battery packs’ SoX, analysing behaviours in order to make informed decisions before selling to market.

FCC is the official American body that checks everything that is being transmitted and received over the U.S. airwaves, and that includes all kinds of electronics that in one way or another communicate over the airwaves and emit electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency (RF) emissions which could interfere with other devices.
